Hi guys! I just got our case number today and I ask her If we can already schedule our interview and she told me that wait for the letter first because they provided it already.

So my question is. can we go to the medical (st lukes philippines) without the letter/packet from the USEM?

thanks!!!!!!!

you can do lots of stuff,

after reading Hank_ 's Handy-Dandy, Neeto-Keen (Yet Spiffy) Guide to SuperFast K-1 Visa Chasing for Manila.

Find one of Hank_ 's posts in the PI sub-forum, and study his signature, the link is there.

NVC doesn't schedule interviews for K-1 visa chasers, fwiw.

Go Get Em, and Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

As far as I know, since your fiancee already has her MNL case number, you can now already pay for visa application at BPI, then after that, you can already schedule for interview appointment, no need to wait for nvc elligibility letter, instead just print the email that already contains the case number. Interview appointment letter is a requirement in your fiancee's medical, so schedule interview first before medical. Congrats :)

The NVC does not assign interview dates. You will be scheduling the interview yourself.

~ Moved from K-1 Process to Philippines regional forum - topic is specific to Manila ~

For the Philippines process, follow the link to Hanks instructions. You do not need to wait for any letter. This is where things start to move quickly for you, BUT you are the one who has to be proactive or you will waste 1-2 months waiting for USEM to send you documents which by the way never arrive. So get Hanks instructions and follow them. Most of us here have used it and we are in many different stages, but we did it the most efficient way possible and without problems.

Your fortunate to have found VJ and this section. We all are here to help you so ask any questions you may have but first read the information in Hanks instructions. In the end you will be glad you did.

Good luck

Now that you have your MNL # it is ROCK 'N' ROLL time!!

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT wait for any letter from USEM... it rarely, if ever, arrives. Why does USEM say to wait when you call - they have to, they have to follow their script.

Reality is you do not need any letter from USEM to schedule your interview online, complete the medical and keep moving forward.

Follow the flashing arrow ~
