Kaleem bhai I have called nvc a lot in past but they are not very helpful so I stopped calling them anymore I have many updates in past but still no result

You are right nvc cant give us proper status and i also have many updates from oct 14 to 7 nov almost 10 updates but still embassy either cantacted me....so frustration Edited by kaleem999

congrats maabish!! I have sent my medical on friday still no update from them :( I have heard they issue the visa right after they received ur medical but in my case its not like this :( 1 week passed and no visa :(

Kaleem you and I seem to be at the same rate with embassy. Both 2012 cases with updates from Oct to Nov 7 but no contact. Inshallah just waiting for that call now.

Your case status was also updated from oct to 7 nov.....can you please share your's case updates Edited by kaleem999

So I called today NVC, 2 times in morning and one now. lol I am that desperate .



In the morning, a man answered, he was alright, he used the words " your case is under review" he didnt use the standard words of your case is in admnistrative processing, which surprised me. Made it sound like there looking at my file. I was like its too good to be true so I called after an hour and a lady attended me, she was a little dry, she said your case is under AP and I just called now and the man was really nice, but all he said was the same,they still have to review it. a decision hasnt been made yet.



Out of the three people i talked today, both said they saw september 12 as the last update, and one said september 16 when on the ceac website, its saying september 16. I remember when I called NVC last month, both times I was told septemmber 16.



Is there any difference when they say your case is under review or its in AP?



Oh and one of the times I called the man said well they havent requested anything more or scheduled any more interviews.

Yes. It was updated on Oct 17, 19, 21,22,23 Nov 07. After that no updates. These were automatic without inquiry. I did email this week however I did not receive a reply case still on 11/07. My medical expired in Sept. and DS 260 will expire on the 25th of Nov.

Same like you mine updated but i have 3 extra updates on 14,17,19,21,22,23,and on 27 showed expiring soon than next day on 28 oct again changed to ap and last was 7 nov..

What is your creation date mine is 2 march 2010...

can you please tell me did you send the barcode of DS260 in the attachment of that web form ? I mean on which we make enquiries? if yes did you get the confirmation email from the embassy that they got the application form barcode? thanks

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
