I got an email from the embassy today they said the visa has been issued. My husband has to be here by March 9, 2014. I am so happy and so is my husband!

Almost 3 years of AP and my husband went in for finger prints and oath yesterday and was approved!!! Alhamdulliah our status changed to issued today and i'm finally starting to believe that this is real. This journey has been so long and painful. I have appreciated all the support from fellow VJ memebers from ISB and congratulate everyone who has been issued and pray hard for those who are waiting. I especially pray hard for Eabbas, it's her turn next inshaAllah. I appreciate the friendships I have gained through this long painful journey, that is the only good thing that came out of being in AP :) I appreciate the help and guidance from Mohsin786 and Sam&Waq for this last step of our process and being there for me day and night, literally lol.

our last few weeks leading up to the issuance of the visa were very similar to Sam&Waq and Mohsin786.

If I can be any help to my fellow VJ members, please feel free to contact me.

Many Many congratulations to you on your husband visa. You people waited long enough but good at the end its worthful :)

can you please tell us how many times your case updated before they call your husband for documents, fingerprints and oath? And how many time your husband submited documents before this ? Thank you

07/25/2011 CO called did phone interview result: PENDING MANDATORY AP/CO told us they have to do namechecks

03/07/2013 Case returned to USCIS waiting for NOIR/reaffirmation

04/18/2013 USCIS received case for review

08/19/2013 Received NOIR to respond by 9/18/2013

9/9/2013 Responded to NOIR/USCIS received documents awaiting response

9/20/2013 USCIS reaffirmed sent to embassy

1/04/14 Case opened for review

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

9/10/15 visa received

My status changed into issued last day and update date is 22 may and today status still same issued and update date changed 23rd may .If visa is issued then why they update case again today?

In december 2010 priority dates retrogessed and wait priority date current again in

MARCH 2012 2nd

Medical submit :07 March 2012 Result :Administrative Processing

3rd Medical submit :28th Feb 2013 Result Administrative Processing

4th Medical submit :26th Feb 2014 Result :Got email reply from embassy that they will call me for finger prints and oath ..and still waiting Got call for finger prints and oath

on 12th MAY Went for finger prints and oath :21th May Result :ApprovedVisa Issued :22.05.2014

Green Card fee paid : 05/06/2014

Poe :17/06/2014

Ssn Received :27-06-2014

Green Card Produced and Mailed :07/22/2014

Got 10 YEAR Green Card :25/07/2014

Just to correct you there I have not got my visa yet I am still in AP

but yes there are visa's coming out.

My husband was asked to submit a new medical in reply to a congressional inquiry. They only asked for a new medical, I was wondering does he need to send in anything else? or just the medical they asked for ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes Embassy also ask only submit my new medical and after 15 days my status change from AP to ISSUE. No finger print or oath nothing. Hope so it's a good sign. IA they will soon issue visa.

my case update today .they ask documents why they update today

Faisal,how they contacted you for docs,i mean did they call,or mail and sent letter to send docs,and wht further docs they ask pls share,and appreciate if you share your time line too,thanxs
