Please add the field office as in future anyone coming to this website will know roughly how long it took for that field office in the past. As most of the processing time depends on your field office

I agree. It is useful to know how your field office is doing and how long are the averages processing times. BTW, my field is the Miami office.

Sorry to say but Miami is a very slow office. People who filed in August are still waiting for the interview. I field in Sept and still waiting.

Five to six months wait is actually not that slow. Most cases are actually processed in about 4 months. If you filed in sep you should hear something soon. Are you waiting for fingerprints still?

No. Waiting for the interview letter. Some of them even got the oath letter who filed in Sept but it takes a long time for interview to be sch. in south florida due to the huge number of cases they have.

Well, i have waited so long already throughout that at this point it doesn't matter waiting a few more months. I just hope it gets done by June. I'd like to have my US passport by the time i go on vacation next summer. Good luck on your case!.

Well its been 12 days since Nebraska said they mailed my packet back and it still hasnt gotten here! How long does mail take to get from the middle of the country! Im so upset its driving me crazy. every day i watch for the postman like a stalker only to be dissappointed. I would just mail another packet but i mailed it with money orders instead of checks like an idiot so now i cant do anything cause it takes 30 days to get a money order refunded. Everyday is a day lost towards getting my oath in time before my husband leaves overseas. All cause of some trainee mistakingly rejecting our packet....everytime i call its either they cant see where it was sent out or even received it at all or they cant get access to view how it was shipped. Dont get me wrong everyone ive talked to has been nice (except one time) and they wnat to hlep they just dont have access. Today i was told to call back first thing in the morning to speak with a person who has complete access to the entire system. Sigh....I just dont know what to do im freaking out
