thank God for the approved NOA2 =) my fiance filed our 129F last oct. 1, 2013 and we got our NOA1 oct. 17. now here's our approved NOA2 dated oct. 30. now it freaks me out because i thought we'll receive it 3-5months after NOA1. so what am i gonna do next? wait for the NVC letter? =) thank you guys!

AOS TIMELINE

07-14-14: Mailed AOS packet via USPS express mail

07-15-14: AOS packet delivered

07-17-14: Got email notification from USCIS

07-21-14: received 3 NOA1 (AOS, EAD, AP) from the mail

07-28-14: received biometrics appointment letter (schedule on 08-11)

08-11-14: biometrics done

08-19-14: status is on "Testing and Interview"

09-11-14: EAD/AP approved

09-19-14: EAD/AP combo card received

10-06-14: case status update - interview scheduled on 11-06-14

10-08-14: received interview notice in the mail

11-06-14: Interview (Approved)

11-06-14: case status update "Card/Document Production"

11-07-14: case status update "Welcome Notice was Mailed"

11-13-14: case status update "Card was mailed to Me"

11-15-14: received GC and Welcome letter

wow that was fast congratulations. no- the nvc won't send you a letter. you need to call the nvc wait about week or two start calling you need the case number.

Yes, the NVC does send a letter to let you know when your case has been sent to your consulate. However, you do not have to wait for the letter. You can call to find out if they have your file yet and if they do, get your case #.

yes it was fast. we were expecting for it to arrived in 2-3months time.. he thought it was an RFE but when he opened it, it was our NOA2 =) ok got it. we'll call the NVC next week to get our case #. thank you so much!

Congrats!!! I am in the same position and was just going to ask the very same question. Do we have to ring up or can we actually track it online and if so which link would we use? Any help would be much appreciated!!! Thanks guys.
