did you have to call them to tell you what you need to submit or you have to receive a notice letter that will tell you what you need?

 - January 26th, 2019 - Priority Date

 - February 2nd, 2019 - Biometrics appointment scheduled

 - February 20th, 2019 - Biometrics appointment

 - June 7th, 2019 - Case Transfered [somewhere] Estimated completition time Dec 2019 (4 months) 

 ** July 24th, 2019 - Checked websites Estimated completition time Aug 2019 [???] (1 month) 

- August 29th, 2019 - Interview Scheduled! [October 7th, 2019 in Portland, OR]

- October 7th, 2019 - Interview [Approved!] Scheduled for same day Oath which was later cancelled... 

- October 25th, 2019 - Oath Ceremony Scheduled 

- November 6th, 2019 - Oath Ceremony [in Portland, OR]

Fiance did receive a letter saying it's about a certificate. No e-mail, no txt, not even an update on the website (still last update is about alien registration number. sad.png

wow I got an email but the email is not mentioning anything about what they need .so worried but will get there.

You have to wait for the RFE hardcopy to reach you by mail. That's where you'll see what's needed. It might be something really simple, like a missing signature...

At least you know they've been working on your case, and that once you get that RFE reply in, it should only take a few more days until approval. :)

You have to wait for the RFE hardcopy to reach you by mail. That's where you'll see what's needed. It might be something really simple, like a missing signature...

I had a doubt about my fiance photo passport and I didn't send his birth certificate too,so that could be it cause we look more alike like brother and sister if his birth certificate is missing they might think we related that could be it but just waiting the notice so that I could send back the requested docs.At least we are not declined that's a relief though.

Different Embassies tend to have different ways of doing things. The best way to know what you might expect from the embassy you'll be interviewing at is to look up on top at the Embassy Reviews. Other VJ'ers will share their experiences that way.
