Me and my husband and 1 year old daughter are living in Sweden, my husband is an USC, (so is our daughter by birth) we are also 7 months pregnant with our baby boy.

We filed our I-130 in August, and were told it would be done in January/February - obviously not true. My husbands visa here expires in April and has to go back to the US as he needs to work, I can not support our children here by myself, and it will be hard for my husband to support a life for him there and one for us here with double rent, bills, food aso, my maternity pay from the government is not enough (one of the parents has to stay at home with the newborn for one year I Sweden, so I can't work). I also have problems with depression, which makes it really hard for me to take care of both of our very young children 24/7.. Not to speak of the hardship for our children to be away from their dad for so long, and him to be away from them as they're so young.. Bonding with his son for the first year of his life won't happen with him across the world and our daughter who loves her dad so much will be heartbroken.. It's so difficult, the main reason I would want to expedite is because our holder needs their father and I need the help to take care of them.. (Pls don't respond if you have no idea of what mental illness is and have anything to say about my depression as I'm diagnoses bipolar)

You can try, but life-threatening seems to be USCIS' biggest factor when it comes to medical expedites.

I can totally emphathize with your situation. I miscarried our baby in May and was hospitalized afterwards for severe depression. I tried to expedite our CR1 application through NVC but the congressman woudldn't help me. Even when case was complete we had to wait for NVC to schedule the interview and the embassy would not grant us an earlier appointment. So you should try to expedite but I would not get your hopes up. Maybe its easier to get it expedited up front rather than through NVC, not sure.

December 5 2012: noa1

May 8:2013: noa2
