Already done all of it. Infopass, contacted senator, called uscis millions time....every time they tell u to wait. Its not like married couple miss each other :-/

I have read some where that k1 visa is less work for them n more money so basically sucks for getting married

P.s i was married before u even met ur fiance but since they dont care for married couple all we can do is wait.....almost 50% feb filers n 90% march filers n so on are still waiting, not the same for k1

None of those service centers are processing cr i-130. You are a k1 filer totally different. They dont want to process the people who are already married but they have no problem approving fiance visa within 2 months. Just saying the way it looks like from vj approval

I totally agree with goldensky99. Yeah its true On this VJ forum i had noticed. That the fiancee visa is getting processed way faster then the Spouse ones. Whats up with that? I don't get it, I mean you would think that Spouse visa should be faster then fiancee. But, nope by looking at the forums here i get that feedback of Fiancee is getting processed faster then the spouse. Which makes no sense to me!

Wow!!! We're quite a lot taking this BS from NBC, my priority date is March 14th and whenever I check online its still on the annoying initial review stage and I was just wondering if it will ever change! Sometimes I don't check for days hoping to get a change when I do but I still get stuck with what it has always put up there "Initial Review" Lol. Also,I'd love to know if my US citizen spouse is going to be interviewed or something,a friend once told me she would and my interview here would be based on questions she answered, any info to clarify that? Just asking so I get myself prepared well in advance because I know Lagos Nigeria is a bone to swallow but I ain't going to be deterred by their high headedness

I agree with Irwinahyee it's seem like fiancé petitions are moving faster than spouses because they receive more money!! In the beginning my husband and I were going to go through the fiancé route but we were advised through advisors and actual couple that were going through the process. Although they are in the US much faster they have to pay way more immigration fees $$$$ I'm happy with our decision I just hate the fact that spouses are not a priority :(

exactly! After researching it all we decided to go with cr-1 - even though the k-1 is going so much faster. I just have to remember that there is still more to do after the fiancee arrives in the US and that is why we went the route we did. sigh. my spouse is canadian, so technically he could come be here with me for the next 6 months but wouldnt be able to work. Same thing would be if we went the k-1 route...he could be here, but wouldnt be able to work until ead and stuff went through. I figure it all pans out int he end and by going cr-1 is costs less $$.

anyhow - yeah - helps knowing there are other people going through the same thing :) i have no idea how I would handle this process withouth vj!
