Comments : Hey guys so here it goes! The night before hubby and I went over a couple of things. He would ask questions about his family and I'll do the same about my family. We were pretty much prepared a few nights before we went though all the documents and organized them in folders. Our interview were scheduled at 6:45am. We woke up 4:30 and left around 5:18am. We arrived at 5:45 and the buscones were already there greeting us we ended up parking with on of them and paid 200 pesos for parking. Once we reached the front there were already a line we got on line outside and the waiting began. We waited online for about an hour until they started letting people in. A women approached us on the line asked for our appointment letter and took it and gave us lucky number 184. Once we went though the metal detectors we sat in this large room full of benches. We were told to sit towards the far right by the cafeteria. We were told to have the passport pictures, receipt from banco popular, and the police clearance ready in hand. After sitting for about 20-30 minutes we were called to window 21 where there was a man asked for all the documents we were told to bring and also asked if we had any children together and I started I was expecting. He took all the documents and told us to have a seat and wait to be called. We sat down and waited and waited just watched as people came to pay with there green tickets in there hand. Finally after about an hour and a half we were called to window 15 where my hubby's fingerprints were taken and then we were told to sit again. About 20mins passed and we were called to window 23! There was a white woman in her early 30s at the window who swore us in. She was nice but very down to business. She started speaking Spanish and asked if we have any children together and I told her we were expecting she said congrats asked how far along was I etc. and wrote everything down. She asked if I spoke English and I said yes asked my husband if he knew English he said no so she said she'll speak to him in Spanish and me in English. She asked me:
1. When and how did we meet
2. How did we get engaged
3. Who attended when we got married
4. How many times since we met have I come to DR
5. If I have family here in DR
6. When was the last time I came ( I told her in Sept for my husbands birthday)
7. She asked when is his birthday
8. What did we do for his birthday
9. She asked how many times have I come to DR since we meet
10. She asked to see my passport
11. She asked to see pictures, my album was from day one we meet. She then asked to see pictures from when we got married and asked who was who.
She asked my Husband
1. When and how did we meet
2. When was the last time I came to DR (he said for his birthday)
3. She asked what did we do for his birthday
4. She asked how many times have I come to DR since we met

She said she was going to put something's in the computer. I saw the green ticket right on the folder (like omg there it is!) hubby was a little nervous lol he just started rubbing my belly lol and holding me. I just smiled she then said congratulations your visa has been approved. I just looked at her with a smile from ear to ear I looked at my husband and he seemed stuck! Lol I was waiting for him to turn to me but he didn't lol I just grabbed his face kissed the corner of his lips and checks lol. She handed us the green ticket and I said thank you and went to pay at Domex.

Over all the experience was not bad just be very prepared and organized. It's a long wait so take snacks and be confident and positive! Good Luck!!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
