PRESIDENT OBAMA: Consider that just a couple of weeks ago, Apple rolled out a new mobile operating system, and within days, they found a glitch, so they fixed it. I don't remember anybody suggesting Apple should stop selling iPhones or iPads or threatening to shut down the company if they didn't. That's not how we do things in America. We don't actively root for failure. We get to work, we make things happen, we make them better, we keep going.

Sitting back trying to be impartial, from what i have seen so far the only people that are going to be making money on Obama care are the big insurance companies.

Kind of like saying you are going to make hamburgers affordable,then telling me I have to go to Mcdonalds then raising the price of a big 50 cents more than i could have paid for it yesterday.

I was thinking it may be a good idea, but after having looked at, forcing me into a high deductible policy at more than than i can currently buy it at on the free market and forcing all Americans into the same insurance system, that is the base root of most of the problems, and thinking that is going to make health care costs go down

It's the freaking first day. It's a nationwide roll out. As a former systems guy, the fact it even went live on schedule is a awesome miracle.

If you have never rolled out a new system and you think what happened today is a bad first day.

My experience with systems is that everyone hates them until they benefit from them then they forget how much they hated the system and move on. (Unless it's a poorly implemented SAP system...lol)

Getting people health care coverage, people who most times end up using the system anyway, is like getting a flu shot; who knows whether the shot works, but it's nice not getting the flu.

Ewwwwwwwww I went through a piss poor EAp implement as a plant manager. it was hell..They eventually took action

they weeded out the people who pointed out the problems
