It's not real AP it's just a temporary refusal until you get the docs to them. Sounds like you are only losing a week! not too shabby! Time to get packed up~

I called dos today and they told me my forms are logged but no interview date yet,I guess that's something though huh??

If you don't mind me asking what was it that made them not sure about your birth certificate? Was it because it wasn't the original copy .mine isn't my original but it's a official copy which people on here seem to think will be fine

Yea as long as its the official copy and not the copy of the official copy youll be fine! At first glance my birth certificate was yellowish compared to the "copy" i had which was white. So i thought i had with me the original and the photocopy of the original. But what I actually had was a copy of the original and a copy of the copy

what gave it away as a copy , if i had looked close enough, it was yellow but it had a white border around it where it had obviously been in a photocopier machine. My mum thinks i must have mistakenly sent someone the original thinking it was the copy because they were both yellow.

Oh gosh what a headache but things like this can be expected when we are all anxious,I'm pretty sure you have nothing what so ever to worry about ,I read your review and as the lady said the interview it self went fine .the positive In all of it is they actually give you the chance to send back to them what they need and don't just deny it there and then,

You will be fine I just know it

I got my Approval this morning & it took forever (my jetlagged brain had to insert more drama into the process by leaving my passport at home, ugh) but it's done. Hope yours will be soon too.

Well update is

I now have in the palm of my hand one brand spanking new passport and one very original looking birth certificate! (I just hope they are happy with th ebirth cert its not the same yellowish my old original was and it says "Certified copy". Any ideas?

Also now i have a new passport does anyone know if i need to reapply for my ESTA like i would usually do with a new passport or will i not need an esta because i have a visa?

Okay just reread the previous posts and i have the same type of birth cert that Jola has so that should be fine

Oh no. All this bad news coming from London is scary.. I wonder what it could be. Is it normal to return the passport if they put someone in AP? I though they would keep it, since most people usually go to 'issued'. I am so sorry to hear this. Surely there will be answers soon. I can't imagine how sick you are feeling.. Keep your head up.
