Salams

Its my day to mope, whine and vent. There's nothing to be said and nothing to do.

Working on 9 months since I saw my husband... getting ready to cross the podium for graduation in less than a week... renovating OUR new home without him... 6 months of AP hell...

Alhamdulillah for everything even when I can't see the good now.

I understand RFQ. I haven't seen my fiance in several months and we are waiting now more than 9 months for the 129F petition to be approved. No RFE, no nothing. I'm still at the beginning! I got a memo from USCIS that they are not processing any petitions for his country at all. And no timeframe for when they will start again. Yes, seriously. Some days are very hard and make me wonder if it's all worth it. But then I remember I am lucky to be in love with and engaged to my best friend. He is worth waiting for. I believe in my heart that God brings good things to those who wait. Our numbers will come up soon, Inshallah. Hugs!

Thank you for the kind words.

I just thought he'd be hear for this major transition in my life-- for this major accomplishment. I thought we'd be moving on together into this next adventure. My new career, and a new marriage, new family...

And my faith lies with God, but I just feel the strain in our relationship now very acutely-frustration coming from both of us. isA This will pass... and one day it will be a blink in time.

I'm sorry RFQ. I know how much you wanted him to be there for your graduation. But he will be there soon. It is so hard to be away from our husbands. It has only been three months since I saw my husband and some nights I cry myself to sleep I miss him so much. Some days are harder than others. Being busy helps. But some days just plain old suck! Try to hang in there. Yes your husband will miss this event in your life. But you have many many more things to look forward to together.

ya rabb!

I am scared to hope anymore for any specific time frame but I am happy to know there is movement within the embassy and cases received in the same window as mine. It is hard to believe at times that my case hasn't been flushed down the toilet and is lost in some DC sewer... lol At least it appears my case is in good company. thanks for sharing the tears and smiles

I guess this is my day to mope. First time I have had a day off in a very long time. I thought I would have a good day but instead woke up in a feeling sorry for myself mood and have cried off and on all day. My poor husband has no idea what is wrong with me. All he knows today is everytime we get on the phone all he hears is me crying. Yikes - got to get over this. Tomorrow is another work day. I start teaching a new class tomorrow. The kids don't need to see their new teacher with tears in her eyes. Oh well......guess we all have these days sometimes. Guess I feel like having a tantrum like the kids in my class - you know stamp my feet and say "I want my husband's visa and I'm going to hold my breath til I get it!" LOL. At least I just made myself laugh.

Hope you have all had a good weekend.

Laughter is good medicine... I find if I imagine what I must look like to a passer-by I can usually find a bit of comedy in that I am pretty sure I look hysterical and perhaps a bit psychotic too. cray5ol.gifsleepy.gifcrying.gifrofl.gif
