I've already filed and submitted the I-864 and it was accepted, but that was awhile ago. Since then, the new format came into use. I figured that I would fill out a new form and send it along with hubby for his interview. I don't want yet another stupid checklist.

Anyway, I'm having a bit of trouble filling out this new one and feel stupid about it.

Part 2, questions 3 and 4 under (other information) is referring to him (the beneficiary) or me (the petitioner)? Country of residence and date of birth

Same question for Part 3 question 6e Date of birth).

Lastly, my mother is helping to sponsor since my income isn't high enough. Which of the 1d, e boxes should she check?

Thanks for dealing with me... ugh.

Part 2 is about the principal immigrant, so you. Part 2, questions 3 and 4 correspond to questions 4 and 5 on the old form.

Part 3 is about all the immigrants who are immigrating with you. Since there are no other immigrants immigrating with you, the only things that should be filled are questions 1 and 7. Question 6 is about Family Member 5; how did you get so many family members? Part 3, questions 2-6 correspond to question 9 on the old form, and should be blank for you.

I am assuming that your mother is doing it as a joint sponsor and not as a household member, right? If so, then 1d is correct.

honestly if your aos was accepted by nvc, and you met the requirements with the cosponsor already, there is absolutely NO need to send a new one at all

Well, I had see that other people did it. I would like to do it just because we were accepted in a different tax year and my employment has changed. I'm going to send him with lots of extra stuff because I just don't wanna give the embassy fire to work with. "Oh, I see you don't have blah blah here" will not be my ruination. Better to be over prepared.
