Hi, this might sound like a stupid question but do I need to include the biometrics fee with the I-485 application (and my I-130) or later when I get it done, also does it need to be in the same money order or can it be a separate one of $85 because I already got my money order for the I-485

Yes, you need to include it with the I-485 Fee. I would also recommend downloading the instructions for the I-485 Application where you'll find details about the Fee outlined http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-485instr.pdf

$985. (Add $85 biometric fee for a total of $1070, where applicable. See the form instructions for payment details.) You must make your check payable to Department of Homeland Security.

Yeah, I just did my medical and was going to send everything off on saturday, but now we need to get the money for the biometrics fee so it will be later, but im doing my best to send it before my time here runs out on the 15th.. so hopefully 2 weeks before will be okay.

So is it okay to have 2 money orders? one for the fee and one for the biometrics fee

I assume it would be fine as long as you have the total correct.
