Still in complete shock. My fiance and I were expecting this petition to take 5-6 months, but to our surprise, it was approved in only 42 days! We are so happy and grateful. All I can say is I know how hard it is for everyone on here that is waiting to be with their loves. Just try and be patient and follow the steps and yours will come very soon also! yes.gif

I was just looking at Igor's List and there seems to be many petitions getting approved in 2-3 months, compared to the 5-6 month time frame. I hope ours can be that speedy (NOA1 = Aug 12), but since my fiancé is Persian we may have to be a little more patient.

I hope my Swede and I get our approval soon! Started all of this last October!

Last October??! That was nearly a year ago!! Have you tried calling about it? If you have and nothing has happened, you should absolutely call your congressman! Make them look into it! I cannot think of any reason why you should wait this long for yor application to be looked over when others are being approved in such short timeframes now. I wish you well!!
