Thanks Magdasal and Olaru_Steve. What you said makes sense. Didn't verify if NOA1 and NOA2 dates are same by us around the same timeline.

Crossing my finger for a smooth ride. And yes, learned it long time ago that when it comes to dealing with any of the immigration process, nothing is certain, guaranteed :-)

Hellraiser, receipt date on NOA1 and NOA2 in my receipts are off by couple days, i believe most of u, if not all have received NOA2. So i am wondering if you guys also have two different receipt dates on each notice of action letter?

In my wife's case, the date is off by one day. NOA1 which states we received your application and this letter works a 1 year extension.... had June 6 a receipt date. Whereas the NOA2 which states te case has been transferred to CSC has June 7 as receipt date.......

Arggggg, just got another email, text from USCIS

"Application Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED"

Got this message earlier when it was received by VSC, I guess this one will be from CSC, meaning every time the mails will change hand it will go through same process, NOA1 and NOA2 from that service center. And we claim to be technologically superior? What a joke an sadly there's nothing we can do :-(

hellraiser,

I think that is standard process.

First they found out where the bottle neck is (in that case, at VSC), and tried to resolve it by sending excess applications to CSC.

They first notified us of the transfer to local office via email/text, then again that it was sent to CSC, then now notified us that it has been received and is being processed. Can't see anything wrong with that.

It actually sounds like good transparency... I prefer to know what's going on than to be in the dark.

They are still within the standard time frame and all that is for our own benefit.

If our application stayed at VSC, then I assume it would have taken longer to process.

Hellraiser, What does your online status say? You might wanna keep on checking your account periodically to check if any activity is happening with the application. My gut feeling is that those of us who are transferred to CSC will start seeing approval notice around third week of sept or throughout the month of October. At least what we know so far is that our files have been physically arrived at CSC. What i called the 1-800 number, it says that the case is pending in USCIS service center. So i am assuming within a week or two, adjudicator will be assigned to our cases.

The online status is "Initial Review".

The status after calling the 1-800..... says something like "we transfered the case number xxxxxxxxxxx for ............ was sent at service center and current status is pending at an USCIS office............ "

I am hoping we hear something soon and this 700lbs gorilla is out of my back.....

Hellraiser,

When i called last week got the same message. My online status says same as well. I think all transfer files have physically reached to CSC and waiting for adjudicator to pick up. So my only fear is if the adjudicator picks up files in the order the files are received at CSC meaning if they will be considered as if our files were received in Aug for CSC. Hope this isn't the case because the receipt date is still the June.

The reason i said is that when i called the number, somewhere said wait to until 6 months from the date of transfer to contact about your case. So i am wondering if CSC will start processing all of transfer cases with with all I-751 application submitted in Aug. Hope not just a second though. :)

:(((( If so I would be very sad. I was transferred to a local USCIS office last Friday but I think it would be CSC. So my case may be processed as September one and I'm a divorce waiver crying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gif

I'm a June ROC filer, and just got an I-797C today stating that our case has been transferred from VSC to CSC. The weird part though is that in the "case type", it says "CRI89 Approved Removal of Conditions (I89)" - our online status however is still "initial review".

I am also struggling to decide whether to inform them of my upcoming address change or not - My husband is returning from abroad and we are moving to a new place on 1st of October, but I am worried that if I do an address change now, it will screw up my entire ROC process. The place I am staying at now is a sublet through a friend, and she would not mind if my USCIS mail kept coming here, and I can trust her to inform me whenever something arrives and get it her immediately.. Any thoughts on this? Really would not want to delay or complicate our ROC at this point because of the address change..
