I'm filling out the I-130 for my wife and her son. I have a question on something..

On the second page..

C. Information about your relative (continued)

17. List spouse and all children of your relative

Looking over my forms I put the following for my wife's I-130

Jason Me Husband D.o.B USA

Son's Name Step-Son D.o.B Philippines

None N/A N/a N/A

None N/A N/A N/A

None N/A N/A N/A

Then on my step-sons I-130 I had the following...

Carla Her Wife D.o.B Philippines

Jason Me Step-Father D.o.B USA

None N/A N/a N/A

None N/A N/A N/A

None N/A N/A N/A

I know I've done something wrong... I think I'm required to have all the none's and n/a's there as they request no blank spaces, but I'm thinking I should only put my step-son's mother on part C #17 and that I have my wife's -130 part right, correct?

Thank you for any help

Correction...

On your step-son's i-130:

C. Information about your relative (continued)

17. List spouse and all children of your relative

Answer should be NONE.

for your wife you would list her son you would not list yourself because it would already be understood that you are her husband that would be if you were filing for any other family member you would be filing for who had a spouse like your mom dad sister brother. And for your stepson you would put n/a meaning your stepson is not married nor has any children. The fact that your filing a i -130 its already understood that your wife is your wife and your stepson your stepson. Basically Do not list yourself on either forms its not necessary

and you do not have to put n/a on all the spaces one n/a or none is understood as none for all

Wrong.

On the petition for the wife, he most certainly would list himself as his wife's husband.

PS: I left the rest of the spaces blank with no issue.

Make sure you send in the required information for your step son, read the instructions carefully. Do not send extraneous material ;)

Can you give me some info on what information I would need for my step-son?

It's in the I-130 instructions. Have you read them? I can't copy/paste from a pdf. LOL

But you're fortunate that I've circled them on an image I made....
