Hello,

I am wondering if anyone else has had an approval of their IR-1 or other petition through the local office of Memphis and it has still not been received at NVC.

Ours was approved May 22, 2013 and NVC still does not have it.

Thanks for any input you can give to me.

If you have not done so yet, you can call USCIS and ask them the exact date they sent out your petition to NVC. Sometimes they wont send it out for a few days or even weeks from what i have read before. Best to call about 2 minutes before they open and they will take extra time to get info for you if their nice that day :), thats what we did and they gave us a date they sent it to NVC. Good Luck

Genesis 2:22-24
Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman, ' for she was taken out of man." For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Thanks guys for the responses. I do not feel alone. I got a message from NVC yesterday telling me to e-mail a copy of the approval to NVCResearch@state.gov if it has been past 15 days since the approval.

Geez, this process is a battle.

Stevie,

I read your about me, can you please provide the emails for Donald Neufeld and Robert Cowan? I have not been able to find them online. Our petition was approved on May 31st and it has yet to reach NVC. I have opened two service request with USCIS in which they state they have sent the petition to NVC. I am currently waiting a response from Barbara Boxers office but I don't know what else to do. I feel helpless, it is so overwhelming.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

if you were certain the casefile was at memphis, then is best to get into the local office and talk with humans (plural) .

advanced search tool data bits:

search terms: 'infopass questions'

Member name: 'Darnell'

click on 'display as posts'

Go Get Em, and Good Luck !

[an infopass appointment at this stage is not a trivial thing, and ya gotta 'train up' the person behind the glass, the first human that speaks to you, for stuff]

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Whoa Nelly ! Want NVC Info? see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Congratulations on your approval ! We All Applaud your accomplishment with Most Wonderful Kissies !
