If you have a greencard, you are fine. Your wife cannot cancel your status or have you deported.

Your wife can't cancel your green card once it is issued. That's your green card, not hers. Their family is blowing smoke up your a$$.

You can click on the 'X' to the right to ignore this signature.

They're trying to scare you into not returning. She cannot cancel your green card. Its your green card. USCIS won't even tell her your current status on the green card unless you sign to make her your agent or are present when she calls.

It is your green card, not yours and hers, you may come and go as you please. She is trying to scare you, pure and simple, there is not a USCIS bus that runs around and picks up people. When you get back here to the good old USA, talk to your wife, have you tried counseling? Immigration marriages are tough, I encourage you to do all you can to save tour marriage, think of good times you had with each other remember you love each other and this should get you through a tough time like this. Sorry for your troubles.

As others have stated, the green card is yours. She and her family can not cancel it. They cannot even get information about your green card from USCIS. It is all yours and yours alone.

However, you have a conditional green card. That means, it expires after 2 years and you have to file to remove the condition. With you and your wife separated, you are not going to be able to prove that you have a bona fide marriage.

You should come back to the US, file for divorce, and file to remove the condition on your own based on entering a bona fide marriage. The more time you spend outside the US, the less likely you will be able to get a regular green card.

If your marriage was a sham and they report it, it can create real problems at interview times. You must show proof marriage was bona fide and real. Do you have joint bank statements? Property in both names or a lease in both names or maybe a joint tax return? These are VERY important along with other things if divorce is not filed try to come home and get some marriage counseling and work, in my thoughts a good marriage takes work, hard work sometimes I encourage you not to divorce until all options are used.
