Got NVC Case number, gave e-mail address, what next?? Please help!!!!

Hello All,

I called NVC yesterday and got my NVC case number, it appears to be of Mumbai Consulate, I gave them e-mail addresses of me and my spouse, How long do I have to wait before they contact me?

Do they contact through E-mail or Snail mail?

What set of documents are to be exchanged at this point with the NVC?

Is there anything I need to be ready with before they mail me?

Please throw some light on this subject:

You can start by gathering applicant documents since these take time to put together. You should get the email some time next week since this week is short due to July 4 Holiday. There numerous links on here for the i230 check list so you should check them out and strt getting the docs together.

I-230 is the Immigrant registration form your beneficiary will complete and send to NVC together with supporting documents. The intructions will be included in the email from NVC

Thank you, I just filled and e-mailed the DS-3032 to NVC as per the link provided by "Lonelywithouthim1". When should I pay for the AOS and what is IV, do I have to pay them both at same time?

You will do fine just read and follow the instructions. I have not reached that point yet but the instructions look pretty good to me. I will pray that the rest of your journey continues to be smooth and fast for you. Please keep us update it.
