Check your ELIS? Was the card produced but not delivered? Or is it still on accepted? Call the uscis and speak to a supervisor.

Ah I thought they may be. Government gave employees an extra day off today. :) Hubs is still in bed. Lol

Does your ELIS still say accepted?

My hubs had to go back to Australia, so he is currently sleeping now too. When we chat tonight, I'll have to find out his elis account info because i can't find it. I'm hoping that will give us some idea.

Hi fellow green card arrival waiters-

We were approved on Sept 2/2014 and our POE was Sept 9th. My husband has still not received his card in the mail.

Who should i call at this point, as we are going on 4 months.

Thank you.

need more data:

1. ELIS payment date

2. ALL ELIS STATUS with date on each status

3. DS-260 address (your address in the DS-260) is still current address ? yes? no ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Yes, we are at our ds-260 address, no changes.

So I guess I'll have to wait to chat with husband and see if he had created a login account when he paid. Or are you saying that I should be able to check with the above info without his login info?

well I tried logging into portal to upload the documents and it won't upload the docs. Says "this portlet is temporary disabled" So that never worked for me. I will try again tomorrow. I called and waited for 45 mins for a ISO who said he sees nothing wrong with the file and these things takes time. He also said "verification" is a process of manually checking the data printed on the card.

I tried to me nice....I said - "if they are manually checking the data on my card that would signify the card is printed"

I smell something fishy in that explanation because no where on my case status does it say my card production was ordered or card was printed. My case lifecycle bubble is on "optimized" and the status is "in process" but I am not familiar with these things.

Then he states that they have a new system and they have some backlog. Also smells funny but I was pleasant and said thank you.

@spoogie - I also tried to upload documents to the portal and I received the same message "this portlet is temporary disabled". Just wanted to pass that on. I will also report if anything changes. Thanks.

Here's a thought.

Still waiting? Upload scans of documents, as an experiment -

perhaps this will 'kick' things into the top of the next queue,

and flow quickly.

Yes, just a thought, and since uploading is allowed, it won't stop the previous queue of 'waiting for the casefile to arrive at TSC' at all. I'm hoping, really, that it will jump over that queue, what with an actual legal document in their hands.

Comments? Anyone up to try it ?

Hi Darnell,

Since our status is still in "Accepted", I was able to give your experiment a try. I uploaded a scanned copy of my husband's SSN and also his UK Driver's License. So we will see what happens. One thing I did notice though on his profile information, I didn't have a "Citizenship" selected. So I also updated that information to GRB. Thanks for the suggestion.

was there a spot to upload a passport bio page? I can't recall, atm.

or data entry page to enter a passport # or A# ?

Thanks so much for going through with this experiment. I'm all for shaving time, on each and every bit of this @#$@ing process. So far, I've written 'shave time' wikis on P3 for Guangzhou for K-1 visa chasers, and EP for Guangzhou at NVC for CR-1 visa chasers, plus a societal/psycho-thriller-drama on my SSN howto in the SSN sub-forum. I likes shaving time...

Hi all, sorry if this is off-topic, but wondered if I should be worried for not receiving my SSN as of yet? (I POE-d on the 2nd December.) I presume the holidays might have slowed things up a little?

Just checked ELIS regarding my greencard and the status changed to 'In Process' on Christmas Eve, so seems that is moving along.

Thanks in advance for the help

Oh ok.. is "SSA" the local Social Security office? What info would I need to take with me to get my SSN?

Thanks for your reply
