**** Moving from K3 to CR-1 spousal visa forum ****

They think your relationship is for immigration purposes/ is fraud. This is a very serious issue. You have several red flags- the age is one, but you being his third wife is a huge one, it looks like he is bringing women over for greencards. You will need to prove not only that you are in a genuine relationship, but also that the previous two marriages he had were genuine and that he just has incredibly bad luck in women so far. It is also considered odd that you do not know anything about his previous marriages- spouses genera;ly know about eachother's past.

It would be better if your husband came on here and gave information, because some of your writing is difficult to understand... for example, is it correct that all your marriages lasted only 3 months? What does "I dont think that in US law a man has to married so not in pakistan" mean?

If I remember correctly, I-130 instructions talk about marriage consummation as a vital part of determining if the marriage is considered legit for immigration purposes. I tried double checking this for you but could not open the instructions .pdf of this device.

Check there, if it is so then you saying you "didnt have the wedding night" gave them the perfect excuse to dismiss a case that is full of red flags to begin with. :/

Part of your answer should include that then- a letter of explanation of this tradition and a listing of your mom/ grandmom/ other family members who married men twice their age. That being said, if he is 12 years older than you, he is clearly not twice your age.

I don't think in Pakistan the age would be a big factor although I would address it. The big thing is why haven't you consummated the marriage? I looks, from what immigration wrote, that you are doing this just for the green card. You have not had sex with him and you know little about his past. He has only come to see you twice? Big red flags. Really, you've been married for four years and have not slept together?

who said that we haven't slept together i told already that he visited me twice and we have that rukhsati part and we spend two months together.I have prove of it and i did not marry him for immigration or that stupid green card i just need my husband and want to start our life.thats it.And BELINDA age is not big difference in pakistan the us people has the issue.the person sitting in the embassy has problem with it.

Okay, so I looked it up now from a PC. This is for marriages via proxy:

Who May Not File Form I-130?

4. A husband or wife, if you and your spouse were not both physically present at the marriage ceremony, and the marriage was not consummated.

I don't know enough about Pakistani culture to know if this is normal or not. I am coming from a Catholic European country, so there is no big difference between "mainstream Croatia" and "mainstream US". However, I would want to know why my husband's prior marriages failed. I appreciate that you believe it's his problem, but my interest would be to see if it could affect *MY* marriage. For example, if they got divorced because he worked 3 jobs and was never home, I would want to see that he has changed that and it will not happen with us.

It seems we may have problem understanding what you mean. When you wrote this:

11.Did you both have your wedding night?

Ans. no
12.Then how you can say this is marriage?
ans. well in my family and in our tradtions nikkah its self called marriage.
13.so you dont meet your husband since then?
Ans. yes
14.So you have no typical relationship with your husband which is common between husband and wife?
Ans. Yes
Then this is not marriage.

.... I took it to mean that the marriage has not been consummated. Also, you rarely see each other and declared you don't have a "typical husband-wife" relationship. From my point of view, the officer made the right decision after these answers.

It is entirely possible that due to cultural/religious differences I am misunderstanding this. Perhaps you could kindly ask a moderator to move your topic to another subforum so that you could receive advice from people from the same geographical region?

Good luck.

In your first post, it indicates that the beneficiary stated that the relationship has not been consummated, this means having sex/sleeping together. That is why the other poster indicated that DOS found it strange that you've been married for so long and not slept together.

What you've indicated in your first post as your responses and your current responses are different. People are responding to why the Department of State may have found issue with many answers.

No, there is no law saying that someone can not marry three different Pakistani women at three different times. That's a very literal interpretation of the concerns presented by DOS. You may not WANT to know why your husband was married several times, but for the sake of this, you may have to find out. They are asking you to explain this and if you don't address it, there are minimal hopes for obtaining a visa. You will need to address each of those concerns with detailed explanations rather than with one sentence.

If it helps, write each question on a separate piece of paper and then on each paper, list out the explanations to the question. With the right information, you should be able to fill up each page. Then type, sign, and send in.

That is nowhere near twice your or the woman's age. :) If he were twice your age, he would be 80. You being 40 and him being 52 is not a problem at all. The fact that he has been married three times, each times for a foreigner and each time he petitioned for them to move to the US, that's a bigger issue.

It's a problem because they requested that it be answered, so she does have to address it. But, it appears to be the least of the worries.

First of all thank you each and everyone for helping me first to understand the problem and then guide me .now i will answer that yes at the time of interview our marriage was not consummated,as i said earlier that we have proof of his previous marriages that they are genuine and why he left them, even his 2nd ex wife is ready to tell by person that why she took divorce as i talk to her personally, now i know the each and every reason of why he divorce from his previous two marriages,But if his previous marriages were problem then why they indicate my previous marriages.
