Traffic ticket-don't know if I have ever go to court for ticket

Wife received a traffic ticket (passing a stopped school bus), paid fine $425 and applied deferred disposition, case is dismissed. We went to city municipal court, get in line, and paid fine at the window through a clerk. No judge involved in this process. We went to municipal court because deferred disposition must apply in court, otherwise we can paid fine online.

My question is what if IO asks "have you ever go to court because of this traffic offense", so what is my answer?

No, you don't have to mention about any traffic violation to IO. They're not a serious crime, especially if you paid the fine and case is over. Just don't do it over and over..

Its doubtful this will be an issue but as with any question asked just tell the truth. They don't care about minor offenses such as this.

Tell them the truth, no but you did go to the courtHOUSE to pay the fine. Take the documents from court (fine paperwork or whatever), take the notice of dismissal. It's not a big deal.

I got a ticket too for not yielding to a Stop Sign. I paid it and submitted my completed Defensive Driving course at the court.

I just had my interview last week and I wasn't asked if I've been to the court. My IO asked me though if I've been imprisoned or arrested.

So no, traffic ticket is not a big deal as long as it does not involve DUI or arrest.
