If you have not received it within 30 days of June 12, 2013, contact customer service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move while your case is pending, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Hello everyone! I just received this kind of update an hour ago. I am wondering why it was not stated if our petition has been approved or denied. Last time we checked it was on initial review, wondering we skipped DECISION and jumped at POST DECISION ACTIVITY. I would be so happy that we received an early decision but I am not certain of what the decision is. Hope you guys can give me feedback in case you received this kind of message as well. THANK YOU!

Hi,

This is what I saw when I checked mine through egov.uscis.gov :

On May 17, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

If you have submitted the required documents in filing the petition, there are times that USCIS would not need any more information from the petitioner and they would approve it with a case status Post Decision Activity. My Interview date will be on July 8, 2013. You can visit my blog for information. http://k1visaapplicant.wordpress.com

Did you check the status on the USCIS website? I would do that now. If the USCIS website doesn't tell you anything you will have to wait for the 797 to arrive in the mail being the text/email you received doesn't state what is the status of your petition.

Only three months into the process makes me wonder for sure...

Hi. But on your case, it was clearly stated that you are APPROVED. On our case it only said it was processed and sent to the address on the record. I'm really hoping we get approved. :) I am also wondering if there might be a problem or an RFE is needed from us. But that's weird we already jumped in POST-DECISION ACTIVITY. My fiance tried to call USCIS and told we should wait for the mail. :( So that left us a hanging thought.

Hi! We did check our case status at USCIS. It just said they processed and mailed it on the address they have on record. My fiance talked to them too. They said we need to wait for the mail and give them a call back if we're not able to get it after 15 days. I am thinking there might be a certain problem or RFE since they are not able to tell us we are approved.

Being it states POST DECISION, it will not be an RFE. Quite often the USCIS info goes from INITIAL REVIEW to POST DECISION, they don't know keep that info very current for sure.

I just find it ODD the email didn't mention approved. Well a little more patience .....

uscis is able to access that information, you just have to speak to the correct person

there will be no rfe since you have been processed and you are in post decision

check the portal in a week to see if that changed

You are right that's really weird being not stated if approved or not. Hoping everything will turn out to be positive. My guy is working with the Army, I asked him if he called via military help line or just the customer service hotline. If they could just tell us what's the letter all about. Anyway, I really appreciate all your responses! THANKS EVERYONE!

Okay, I think an IO could tell us what's inside the mail. Shall he request upon calling that he would like to talk with an IO?
