Funny, since usually my bank statement shows that I have like $3 at the end of the period so I chose to take the one from my immigration savings account since it actually had $900 in it lmfao.

Why do you have bank statements? Are you using assets to qualify or something? Or is this to show co-mingling of finances which means they would want to see your finances. The in and out the withdrawals and such. Not just that you two have your names together on an account.

i have seen over and over again CO's remark (and have seen in denials) that the CO felt the bank accounts were created for immigration purposes with no activity really to show any co-mingling which means his and hers monies together and withdrawals from their country and US.

I love my husband but I've never been a believer of joint bank accounts...so we did kind of create one for the sake of my immigration process. Theres not much money in our joint account either. Maybe it's best not to bring it..

This question doesn't make a lot of sense

The letter says 'Go AT LEAST 1 week before the interview date'

2 weeks IS at least 1 week.

Meaning, at the smallest amount, 1 week, if not more.

2 weeks allows for your paperwork to get finished and any possible issues to hopefully be rectified.

Hello everyone, I got an interview date and the email with all the info I need but at the moment me and my husband are kinda confused and doubting our ability to understand what the instruction say (mostly me, my husband is pretty confident!) so I was hoping you guys could clear my head.

The instructions say:

"Visa Interview Requirements
"APAPAIA" must bring the following to the visa interview:
* Any original documents that were requested by the NVC but were not submitted
to the NVC
* The medical examination results if not submitted to the Embassy/Consulate by
the physician
* The correct size and number of photographs
* Valid passport for all traveling applicants
The following table lists the documents requested by the NVC and whether or not the
NVC received them. Please note that even though the applicant may have provided
the NVC with a copy of a document, the applicant is still required to bring the
original document to the visa interview."

Now this is the list of documents they wrote (with the status):

Now my concern is: What do I bring at the interview? Do I need to bring more original copies of those documents that they already have in original copies?

Do I just need to bring the ones that have a Y? Should I bring EVERYTHING (that's what I actually wanted to do but I'm gonna need to ask for another marriage certificate copy since they asked us to send 4 copies over a year)? I am confused and after a year of waiting I don't want to go to the interview and get denied just because of something that I could have avoided.

Also about the medical, should I just print the email they sent me and go to the clinic?

Oh wow that was fast! I will get everything ready as you said, I think it's the right thing to do. I didn't sign part 2 of the application yet and also the clinic is actually 5 minutes walking distance from where I live and know someone that works there but they told me that usually is the consulate that calls the clinic and sets the appointment for the day before the interview (is that even possible?). I think in the last month few things changed about this so I'm gonna go there and talk with the doctor instead.

Most likely.

They usually only schedule interviews during the first 2 weeks, and that's pretty much up.

On the other hand, I got our interview time on the 13th of the month last month. Today is pretty much the last day I think but there's still a bit of a chance. Wait till evening and see if you get an e-mail.
