I called the NVC about that around noon today and they said they're experiencing technical difficulties. I logged in an hour ago and it worked fine.

The database error isn't case-specific, it's typically indicative of NVC having either technical difficulties or they're updating the site. Just sit tight and wait. Since you did just get the case number, it'll still be awhile before you can log in, and then possibly another day or two before the AOS bill is invoiced.

Thanks, Saylin. I was able to login about 15 mins ago. AOS shows not invoiced. IV obviously nothing yet because my wife still needs to send the DS-3032 email...which I told her to do ASAP.

I did notice that they have my name listed under the AOS Fees section for Petitioner. But in the IV Fees section for Applicant my wife's name isn't there. Is that because they haven't received the DS-3032 yet?

Eh - sorta.

once the ds-3032 is added to the casefile, then the IV fee bill is generated.

Once it's generated, it's generated in the name of the Visa Applicant, your wife.

My payment portal thingie had me on the AOS, her on the IV . Her name wasn't in the portal until after the IV fee bill was generated.

This was from earlier this month or late May.

Remember - the AOS set is YOUR document. The IV Set is HER document.

and hey can you track down my wifes visa application she sent that thing to me on a donkey paddling a kayak like 9 days ago.. it was supposed to be here yesterday! so much for original documentation headbonk.gif

I know how you feel. Our originals traveled for almost 5 weeks! We already started getting new ones issued again when the letter finally arrived. It was just a regular mail, no tracking, and we knew the mail travels for long time from Bosnia, but still. It could have done a trip around the world in that time!

Since you already had an expectation of when your mail should arrive, I hope it gets here tomorrow so you can send the packets.
