You'll have to send the IV package without the police certificate. You'll then get a checklist requesting the missing certificate. You should be able to use that to get the certificate.

Im sad today we got a cheklist. :(. Question.

Our checlist says in part 2. Information on the principal immigrant , please correct the following

then it blacked out. How do we know what to correct? Then theres 4 more info to correct also blacked out?

Im totally confused. Hubby will call today and ask.

Geat advise. How do u know that an embassy has not given schedule of interviews yet for a particular month. Is there a way i can find this info for another embassy? just curious, thanks!

Am sorry to hear that especially about how long it took to review your AOS (A month), and getting a checklist on top of it. I will call NVC, and they should be able to tell u what u need to fix. All the best.

thanks memphis! I hope so. Im just worried that after sending the corrected ones we have to wait for a month again :( that would be depressing. Then i wouldnt make it to august interview slot. Huhuhu

I'm not sure if anyone can help..... how can I get a letter from nvc requesting police verification? Kuwait requires a letter stating that nvc requires it. Any help will be greatly appreciated

often this letter can be found on the embassy's website under immigrant visas when it is a requirement.. same for mine and got the letter on the site

So, I called. They reviewed IV package yesterday. Question 30... we should have filled one of the questions with 1974....we put 1994..... and they do not take the newly devised "Civil Status report" from Morocco, so he has to travel and obtain a Birth Certificate and translation, and new PCC & court record since they will have expired by the time he gets interviewed...... Sigh..... It had been going so smoothly.... Arrrrrgh

If they all are blacked out its a false check list(not to worry), if you have a box with an X in it thats the checked error

when did you send your AOS?

sent both aos and iv May 26 got to NVC 28 reviewed yesterday and got checklist today.
