It wasn't Social Security that Gary wanted to go on. He wanted to go on the dole. The Nature Boy has now opted for socialized, government run medical care which he hates so much. Good stuff!

It's not that they're all bark and no bite. They live by the "gubmint teat for me but not for thee" philosophy. The typical RWNJ "I've got mine so GFY" mentality.

That seems to be the axiom with the republican'ts: They abide by the notion that every bit of their philosophy should apply to everyone else, not to themselves.

If you authored books on why we should all be vegans, but were found that you like to frequent steak houses for some juicy t-bones, what does that make you?

Another example: You go around declaring that homosexuality is a sin and eroding family values and then are caught having buttsex with young male prostitutes, what does that make you?

In the end, Miss Rand was a hypocrite but she could never be faulted for failing to act in her own self-interest.

So Ayn Rand was a welfare mooch…well, kind of. The point here is that Rand was vocal in her opposition of government programs like Social Security and Medicare. Yet when the time came when she could benefit from these same programs, she did so…in secrecy.

In the end, the queen of individual rights and limited government and staunch opponent of the welfare state, turned out to be nothing more than your common, everyday hypocrite.

Oh, really? Have you read anything from Ayn Rand? Do you realize how much this woman despised government social programs? You're delusional if you don't see the hypocrisy of accepting social security and medicare when you hold firmly in the belief in Rand's version of self reliance. Good grief.
