Age difference

Hello well am kinda worried about the age difference wit ma hubby and the age diff is 23 years , i really love ma hubby and we have been together for long ,his an amercian by birth and he works for the governement , i applied for a spousal visa and ma interview is around the corner , we got married on june 15 2012 and we have been dating since AUG 2011 and i first met him when he came home to visit me in Nov 2011, he has always been coming to visit me home and other times we travel to any country of our choice , we have been to several countries together and we have all the evidence those embassy guys will ask for like the pix ,WU , he pays for ma school so i have all school receipts , phone bills , skype , hotel receipts , w2, emails ,and everything , so fam do u think this is will affect me coz am scared .

Nothing to be worried about.. They are correct, it's just a number! even me and my hubby its 43years gap we've been married for 2years and 2months already

Age is rarely an issue when the male is older than the female. It becomes an issue when the gap is in the other direction.

Yes while age issue comes up when the woman is older than the man, it does not mean the challenge cannot be overcome. You guys seem to have it going good so far with the length of the relationship, his frequent visits and your travels to so many other places. I suggest you keep your proofs of these trips and pics with key members of both famiies. Another thing to look at is your immigration status.Has either of you been married before? how long after breakup did you guys meet?

Has he petitioned someone else before or have you been petitioned before? if yes what was the outcome? Once you can confidently answer these questions and convince the CO , you are NOT together for immigration benefit, then you should be fine.

thanks VJ family , well ma guy has never petitioned for anyone before and i have never been petitioned for , yeah his been married and divorced way back and we met after he had divorced n i have his divorce letter
