You can usually get credit card statements from your card online going back at least 12 months and often 3 years. I printed the credit card statements from the month I was with my fiance, and circled/arrowed to the line items that showed purchases made in his town -- the statement even said the name of the store and the street and zip code, so I feel that was really solid proof. Has your fiance looked for his statements online at his credit card company?

Hi Guys!!!

I just wanna ask you guys if we should send them the original copy of our receipts or just the copy??

Because like what you said guys anything can be fake once it is processed in the computer

but you can never fake the original. Like how old the receipts was, the fading and how it was crumpled.

So original receipts or the scan one?? Thank you. rose.gif

Yeah I think so too..

MY fiancé prepared all the papers that we sent. And I know he wasn't very detailed with everything because he is confident that they will not asked so much since we've been together for a long time and we had lots of pictures to prove that.

Now I am preparing the RFE. So I am being very detailed with everything.

That's why I am asking if we should send the original copy of his receipts (which is here right now in the Philippines) or just scan it.

But I wanted to make everything originals to make it strong evidence. I just keep hearing that we should always keep the original and send the copy.

So I dunno...

OP: They don't think you are a fraud, this is NOT what the RFE is about.

The RFE is because your initial package did not conform to the requirements. These items are required for everyone by law.

Think about this: You can't write a note on crayon that says "pwease let us have a fiance visa we are a real couple" and get approved, can you? You must fill out the proper paperwork and submit all the requirements. You missed photos, letter of intent, lots of things.

You have been given good advice about proof of meeting. Don't confuse proof of meeting in the last two years with proof of an ongoing relationship. A chatlog does not show that you met in the last two years, in fact it shows that you were apart.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Copies are just fine.

And.....they don't care how long you have known each other (that was your msitake), for this part of the petiition they ONLY want to know that you have met in person once in the last two years. Detail ONLY one of those meetings.....nothing needed about when you were kids or of other meetings. Your information had them, obviously, thoroughly confused.

Thank you.

I was thinking of including a little chat history that involves him coming here in Philippines from FB, YM and Call chat in SKype for the "additional

Information"

We are going to send copies of passport stamps ( we don't have the airline tickets anymore) and the credit card purchase history here in the Philippines.

What I want to know is I also found some receipts here(Philippines), Should I send the original to my fiancé or scan will do?

I feel like original are stronger but also I think that I need to keep the original copy to myself all the time for future references.

HI guys,

About the form G 325. I know that we need to fill them out. Both of us.
Well, my fiancé only has one form. ( he tried to call today but they were already close so we didn't get answer why we only have one form)

Well, I was thinking if we can do this?

1. He's going to scan the form, send to me by email and I'll fill them out and send it back to him?
2. OR I can download it anywhere. Print, scan and send it back to him with signature and date?

I don't know if G 325 are suppose to be unique form that we can't copy or that it is downloadable for beneficiary that is living abroad.

Spend some time on this page http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

It has the instructions and the links you need.

Make sure your fiance, the USC, also reads that so he understands the process. It take time, but it's a very important and worthwhile investment. If he doesn't pay attention to the details, you will continue to run into problems in the process.

You each need to provide your own G-325A form and letter of intent. Both of them must have original signatures on them. They cannot be copies or scans.

Send copies only of other documents that do not require an original signature.

You can find all the USCIS forms and instructions on the USCIS website.
