Last time i went through an attorney last time and going by how they did my 1st/last K1 application. He only attached 1 passport size photo of my fiance. I have 3 more passport size photos that she sent me, since 4 of them came in the packet. Will I need the 3 other photos for anything? Just don't know why it only shows my attorney only used 1 of the 4. If anyone could give me some feedback, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

It's all in here http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

One passport photo of the USC petitioner and one passport photo of the foreign fiance(e).

That's what I thought but the lawyer requested more than 1, so I was confused... Here is what the attorney's checklist showed about this:

Provide the following:

  • Two (2) color passport photos of you and four (4) of your fiancé(e). There should be no hair over the ears, no earrings, and no shadows. The background must be white or off-white only. We have enclosed a sheet that details the color photo specifications. Do not cut the photos, and print the names on the back of each passport photo.

Only 1 photo each from petitioner and beneficiary with G-325A. Once petition is approved, you'll need more at the interview stage.

Good luck on your journey!

She'll need a fresh set of photos for her medical and interview so no need to send those to her. Have her get at least additional 6 photos for AOS after she arrived and you guys get married

Because this is what you get when you hire a lawyer. What for??? Is your case complicated? Did any of you had legal issues in the past? If no, then it's a big waste of money that should be saved -- you'll need it at later stage of the process for sure!

Do it yourself and you'll be in full control of what's going on with your petition. That's my honest advice and I'm sure many many folks here would say the same.

Yea, that is why I am doing it myself. It seemed like such a waste of money after I realized pretty much everything that needs to be done. I have to fill out anyway. I regret doing that the first time. I hope this is my last time and I NEVER have to do it again lol!

Only 1 photo each of both of you is required for the petition.

For the interview and medical you will require more, and those are, I think, country-dependent. For example, in Ukraine they require 3 photos for medical + 2 more for interview.

Thank you all for your feedback. I'm hoping this time it takes just as long as it did my first. My ex it didn't take that long at all, but that was 2 yrs ago... Any idea what the going time frame is right now? :-(
