How long did you wait for your RFE hardcopy?

I'm just writing to make sure we aren't alone on this one..... been waiting nearly 2 weeks for our RFE to arrive in the mail. I'm no postal service expert, but I do know it doesn't take this long for mail to travel from California to Washington State. It's no shock that they didn't mail it when they said they would but I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised. So what's average? How long did you wait for your hardcopy to arrive?

The first date they give you is just when the RFE was reported/recorded. The second date is when it is actually sent out for shipment.

I am in RFE world now, having seen on the website that they said they mailed it on May 10. Hoping that mine doesn't take too long to get to me but it looks like I could be waiting longer than expected based on this thread. I'm following up w/ my senator's office if I don't see anything by Thursday.

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

My RFE hard copy took like 4 days to arrive since the 2nd Email notification.

The first email or text, is the update, the 2nd notice, is the real time they send the hard copy... that took around 3 or 4 days!

Good luck!

First email 4/19.

Second email 4/23.

Hard Copy 5/2.

Mailed 5/3 overnight.

Arrived 5/6.

NOA2 5/13.

Unfortunately, there are others who have waited two weeks or longer for the hard copy. One can only guess why it took so long. My guess is that it was not mailed on the second email notice date. After 15 days of the second notice, a service request can be filed, but that is still no guarantee you'll get a real answer.

They sent mine to my lawyer (they just called me today), been 15 days exactly since the second RFE notification that they mailed it so my guess is it has been in their office for at least a week.

Its already been two weeks, I have not gotten my RFE in mail. God knows how long it takes to get mail within California. usually USPS takes 5-7 days to deliver general mail coast to coast. USCIS lies to us. they don't mail our RFE on the date they say "... we mailed ..."

I received an approval email on 4/24/2013 and today 5/14/2013 (tomorrow is 3 weeks), I still have not received the hard copy approval notice and I'm from California sad.png. It is funny that my file has already been received in Consulate in Vietnam and packet 3 has been sent out.
