I had been at my job 13 years. Manager of very chaotic manufacturing plant.Today I had enough and left. Iwill get enough severance and insurance to last me 1.5 years. After that ride the unemployment train 1 year.

By then Obamacare will be available. I have everything paid for including my 3 rental proprties. So after unemployment, I can show a very low rental income and get cheap obama care. The insurance equation solved.

That sounds like you have a plan for now, but you had better double check your unemployment plan. in most states unemployment was kicked back to 12 weeks ! Obama care kicks in fully at the end of this year in which you will find yourself paying about $790.00 monthly thats not counting any copays ! so party well you can! It is affordable when you have low income. The premium are subsidized so that low income people can participate (Participate: You don't pay any premiums but you can file claims) for health insurance plans to pay your bills). Their health is "insured" by the rest of us just like they are fed, housed, and "educated" (well we pay the for the schools and teachers anyway) like the rest of us.

Sort of like "earned income tax credits". They get tax "refunds" for taxes they never paid in the first place.

"Conservatives" seem only to be against government handouts as long as there is nothing in it for them. Remember all the tea-party protests over the Medicare Prescription Drug Act, signed into law by George Dubya? You don't? Neither does anybody else, because there weren't any. Well since the Tea Party had not formed yet when Dubya signed that Bill it would have been hard for them to have held protests would it not. ??
