My husband (the petitioner) is 73yrs and I am 26yrs.. We've known each other since 2009 and we got married in 2012. It was only a private wedding but we have pictures of the wedding but only one casual photo of us together in 2009 .. He's been visiting me every 3months since we met in 2009...We love each other very much and this is indeed a genuine relationship but as far as I've read the significant age difference and no casual photos together are a potential red flag.. Could someone share there experience or take on this please?

Thanks in advance..

lol...We do have a camera but am just not a picture person.. So will this be a problem? Is this a potential red flag?

Yes it is, and now that you know you need pictures, make sure you take lots and lots when you see him next

I think it will create a bit of problems but if your relationship is true you just need to be patient. Maybe plan on taking a lot of pics next time you meet?

My husband and I barely have 10 pics of us together but we have paperwork that could be used to prove that we're a true couple (like his life insurance and his military clearance). Maybe open a shared bank account or something similar?

I'll leave more detailed answers to people that know more.

Good luck

Giovanna

Honestly what does that mean?? :ot2:

It means she needs pictures to prove that she does indeed spend time with the husband.

:( ... This makes me sad even though its reality and I do need to be patient... We have no paperwork of that sort, just records of him visiting me and the wedding photos... I will discuss opening a shared bank account with him.. Thanks so much for your response, much appreciated!

Awww don't be sad! This is a long process and it's hard to go through it. I guess you're starting now and if you start with a sad mood it's going to be even harder :(

In the end it would just take a bit longer! It's not like they're going to make you guys divorce!

Good luck and hugs!

Giovanna
