I would recommend to the US that they prpvide a form of visitors visa for spouses to visit in the US whiles they wait for this whole process to go through.

That's the K-3, isn't it?

but the problem with the K-3 is that it is the exact opposite of what it is supposed to be..... The k-3s are taking even longer than the I-130s to process. If they had a simple B-2 visa with a 6 month limit specifically for waiting for processing.. that would be cool.. Not the K-3 .... something that would be processed at the embassy not the USCIS... Maybe that would speed the process up . And if they can't process the case within 6 months, then the spouse gets an extension... Just a thought... they made the K-3 too complicated.

I also know that is for VSC.... its impossible to track NBC ... the thing that bothers me is that my estimated processing time moved all the way up to Dec now. sigh...... be sure to update your times lines people ! ! it helps the rest of us

I am January i-130 filer . husband in usa i am in UK.

and today we get checklist - they want more information on i-864 and also they have addressed it to me in my name before we married !!!!

I have no idea what is what with all this now. BUT we do have an attorney who has been doing all this for us since January . NO thanks to the attorney for screw ups .

Trying to get it sorted now . Oh Lord please bless us to to see an interview date soon.

Did anyone's husband's here apply for tourists visas and got denied (while you were dating/engaged)? I posted this as a separate topic a few days back, but wanted to ask all of you here...

My husband did not mention me in the interview which I fear might screw things up down the road. He just said he was going to see his cousin which was true, but also wanted to meet me and my family. I've been trying not to freak about this but you all know how high tensions can be with all of this.

05/31/13 - Second trip to Egypt and actual honeymoon in Sharm El Sheikh (left Egypt 06/29)
08/15/13 - Called USCIS for expedite request.
08/16/13 - Sent emails to both state senators and mailed a letter to state congressman.
08/21/13 - Call from congressman that letter is being forwarded to a different congressman. Mailed letters and evidence of situation in Egypt to senators
08/27/13 - Was told the congressman's office would make an inquiry about our expedite.
08/29/13 - Received e-mail that my congressman's office had filed their own expedite on our behalf on Tuesday and would notify me when they hear anything from the NBC.
08/30/13 - NBC responded to congressional inquiry. Could not give a date of predicted approval, but our inquiry was handed over to the expedite team for review and a decision.
09/04/13 - EXPEDITE APPROVED!

I've tracked the VJ charts every day for three months now. I Entered the waiting times for all the service centers on an excel sheet each day. Now when I compare the trend charts to the stats that were showing before, The charts are off by 50-100 days in June-July now. Strange to see this.

I only looked here because there is nothing to look at on the USCIS site for I-130. looks like VJ charts are not set up to show this information correctly either.

Umm, there are statistics per each field office (example) in the USCIS site. In the next couple of days stats for July should become available.

I found a place on MSNBC's website to suggest topics for investigation and news coverage. Maybe if we all suggest investigating USCIS they will get the message. You don't have to put images, just skip to the box where you can write up to 3000 characters. I mentioned VisaJourney and all the conflicting information we receive out of USCIS, how they took our money and now treat us like we don't matter, and how they seem to operate however they see fit. There is a lot you can say in 3000 characters!

But whatever you say, try to sell them on why they should investigate it. I think thats the trick.
