Comments : 08/15/2013 - Called USCIS for expedite request. Waited 2 hours for transfer to a tier 2 officer. Expedite sent as a service request since we are at the NBC. Said to wait 30 days.
08/16/2013 - Sent emails to both state senators and mailed a letter to state congressman.
08/21/2013 - Call from congressman that letter is being forwarded to a different congressman. Mailed letters and evidence of situation in Egypt to senators
8/27/2013 - Sent authorization form for congressman on Friday. E-mailed today asking for confirmation it was received. Was told the congressman's office would make an inquiry about our expedite.
8/29/2013 - Received e-mail that my congressman's office had filed their own expedite on our behalf on Tuesday and would notify me when they hear anything from the NBC
8/30/13 - NBC responded to congressional inquiry. Could not give a date of predicted approval, but our inquiry was handed over to the expedite team for review and a decision.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
