CSC approved 4 yesterday which is encouraging but three of the four filers were from December, wow talk about out of order that is extreme!

It is good to see signs of life from CSC though!!

Yeah, I'm not sure if it is a good sign or a bad one. Let's see what this week brings us.

I think sometimes that the visa center processing people are graded on the number of visas processed per day. That would explain why the DACA visas are processed first and why sometimes there are applications that are processed unusually quickly because they had all their ducks in a row in their packets and there was no need for additional double-checking. Its just a theory but I have worked at companies with large call centers that grade that way and where the operator's sole goal was to end the call as quickly as possible so that they will get a performance bonus in their paycheck.

I agree not sure its a good sign or bad. Three December Filers and two November Filers (that I saw posted in topics). Are they just skipping July, August, Sept, and October? Lol.....just don't know what to think about CSC these days!

I would think that most applications originating from filers who use the guidance provided by the VJ website are in very good shape in terms of simplicity to process. It's really hard to confidently speculate why some December applications have been approved ahead of those filed in July. My hearty congratulations (as well as envy) go out to those fortunate enough to have speedy approvals. I can only imagine that the feeling is similar to that of winning the lottery.

Is this really a good sign? They skipped September, October and November and approved December filers, sounds like someone just grabbed a pile randomly (December) and plopped it on an adjudicator's desk to process, crazy.

Could be the beginning of a July-November black hole...I certainly hope not.

According to the graph on Igor's List, there's slightly more approved for December than for September even. Maybe they lost those earlier ones in the flood.

We are Nov 7th for our NOA1. There was an error on my original receipt saying my country of birth was the US. I made a request to change it and have since received a notice saying they would send an "updated" receipt. We then received the "receipt" which was in a different format than the original and it gave me (the beneficiary) a number which is new. This makes me think our file is accessible and good to go. If it was damaged I'm not sure we would have received these last 2 letters. Just a thought.

i'm happy for those approved (truly happy, as no one deserves to go through torturous process) but people approved from December, when there are hundreds from July CSC, 5 months earlier, waiting? Ummmm....

Something is definitely out of whack with CSC. One or two out of turn is one thing, but 4 out of 5 yesterday from this site? That seems to be a pattern.

Yeah, I'm not so sure I like this pattern.

I hope it is just "the new guy" grabbing a stack of applications that were from late nov-early december, enthusiastically working on them, and his slow, fat-a$$ed co-workers are just getting through the rest of the pile, and they'l start showing up soon.

I hope.
