Could be a false checklist. Call NVC and verify what the checklist is about. Or post the entire checklist email here (block out the personal info).

hi Apple i just called and NVC operator told me that my AOS package is accepted today this is why they sent that checklist cover letter for the next step.

no checklist... good.gif

I called NVC twice already. Always saying that it takes 8 weeks to receive the case.

On my first call, the agent was quite serious and seems impatient.

On my second call, the agent was very accommodating and even advised me to call every week to check on our case.

It made my day 'coz she was so nice. :)

*just sharing*

I received a checklist for my AOS today.

I'm just confused since it is also asking me to fill up the DS-260 which I already completed last Sept. 6.

Is it just protocol for them to include it in an AOS checklist or they just didn't receive it?

You can call NVC and tell them you have already submitted the DS260. You sent the civil docs together with the DS230 right?

You only have to respond to the AOS checklist.

Thank you.

Yes I did submit the civil docs with the DS230.

I'm worried now since the lady i spoke with last night said they still haven't started reviewing the civil docs when they received it 3 weeks ago and the DS 260 was completed September 6..

I think all countries will eventually have electronic processing, but right now Pakistan does not have it.

Congrats alot shabbera soo happy for u!!! My husband just corrected the mistakes and send AOS again to nvc!!! He also submitted ds260 online for me and our son!!! Hope that I'll be case completed soon InshaAllah

Hey guys, I just got another checklist. Now they are saying that there's a gap in my residence history of more than six months since I was 16, what's not true! I checked both forms that I've filled (DS-230/DS-260) I there is correct. My husband is also saying that the checklist for his AOS must be also wrong, because all data on the form match with the documents sent. What should we do?? Is anybody passing through the same situation?? * FRUSTRATED * crying.gif

That's what happened to me too when I submitted the DS230. So I submitted the DS260, hopefully I won't get another checklist because I double checked it with NVC when I filled out the ds260.

I did it too! I've filled both docs. I have a copy of the two forms sent and there are the correct data right there! My husband just called NVC and they told him we have to fix the information anyway. cray5ol.gif

Yup! Can't do anything but to submit it again. When did you send your DS260?

22Aug2013 - IV package delivered

06Sep2013 - DS-260 sent

I think the checklist is for the IV (DS230) package that she sent.
