Philippines NBI Clearance Seperate or combined names??

PLEASE HELP!!!

My Filipina wife is being given the run-around by the NBI in Cebu, Philippines. They are telling her she cannot get an NBI Clearance in her maiden name. That she is married now so she cannot have one in her maiden name. So they ended up giving her one that included her full maiden name including her mothers maiden name that was dropped when we were married. Let me show you. Her maiden name was: Zoila Mae Acebeo Alburo. When we were married her name was changed to Zoila Mae Alburo Olsten, although that combination is nowhere to be found anywhere on our wedding certificate. In fact there is not designation on our marriage certificate that gives her married name in any form. Her passport that she got after we were married reads Zoila Mae Alburo Olsten. The Acebedo name was dropped when we were married. The stupid lady at the NBI gave her one NBI Clearance only that reads exactly like this: ALBURO de OLSTEN, ZOILA MAE y ACEBEDO

Everything I read says the spouse needs 2 NBI Clearances, one in their maiden name and one in their married name. As far as I can tell the NBI clearance we have now is not good for either name because her name is not Zoila Mae Acebedo Alburo Olsten on any other document we have to this day. Once again her birth certificate reads Zoila Mae Acebedo Alburo and her Philippines passport reads Zoila Mae Alburo Olsten.

So WHAT DO WE DO NOW. She is afraid she will be arrest if she goes back to NBI because she says the form asks if she is married and if she lies and says she is not she thinks she will get arrested.

My suggestion was for her to simply line up 2 times. The first time getting an NBI Clearance in her maiden name and the seconds time using her new Philippines Passport.

There's nothing wrong with the NBI Clearance given to her. That is correct. You have nothing to worry.

I dont see wrong with the cert. given to her as stated her full name .when I got NBI using married name its was form like that too.....she dont need to get 2 NBI clearance too if im not mistaken just write the other name she use or alias .

Don't worry, she has the correct info on her NBI clearance.

Full maiden name + husband's last name

I changed my passport too right after I got our NSO marriage certificate. Before I went to DFA, I also got a new NBI clearance with my married name and it looks just like yours, with the "DE" and "Y".

There should be a spot on the form to list all aliases. The embassy in Manila wants to see both the married name and the maiden name on listed on the clearance. If not, that will delay your processing.

That is correct what NBI is saying. She should get the NBI (for Travel, green paper) in her married name with an AKA for her name when single, its just one NBI.
