Is it still a no-no to use staples on documents being submitted? It has been awhile since we had to do this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Additionally, return receipt still the best way to send the packet? Thanks!!!!

Yes, use paper clips, or binder clips. If you staple everything together they have to undo it to scan your documents into the system.

Using staples is fine. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=ff053d146a7ee010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD&vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD They just don't want you using heavy-duty ones (those are a PAIN to undo!).

Personally I stapled all 10 pages of my form together but I didn't staple any of the other pages. I used my "special" stapler, that doesn't fold them over like normal staples (more like what a photocopier does when it staples for you). Those ones are easy to remove.
