hang on time well come your not alone being frustrated calling them and waiting for approval.

cheers

Heilyn

Actually, no, not really, both service centers are approving visas around the same time. Take a look at recent approvals: http://goo.gl/jKjgL

They don't process them in order. It jumps around quite a bit. Notice that on the first page as of my opening that link, that both CSC and VSC have approved petitions from July and September. If you go back through, you a see a lot more VSC coming out, yet the one's that come out are in the same date range that the ones from CSC are coming out. Neither one is fast or slower, by the looks of it

We are CSC and received the NOA1 officially on Sept 21. That's 175 days from today. I believe the wait on average is 193 days. So we are just now in a time where we can realistically expect a response. So instead of getting frustrated I would prefer to get excited...

The processing centers seem to constantly flex up and down, so hopefully things will pick back up soon, especially with the recent load transfers.

I think we all get caught up in our individual situations and maybe pay to close attention to the numbers. In reality its such a short amount of time compared to spending your life with someone, even though it might not feel that way at the moment.

Have faith, smile, and plan for the future!

Journey so far:

09/14/2012: Sent I-129F Packet

09/21/2012: NOA1 Received

04/22/2013: NOA2 Notice of approval
05/08/2013 NVC Received

06/01/2013 Packet 3 Received

06/04/2013 Packet 3 Sent

06/10/2013 Packet 4 email received

06/27/2013 First Scheduled interview-cancelled (didn't get notarized paperwork in time)

08/12/2013 K-1 interview passed!

08/28/2013 Lili Arrives in the U.S.!!!

10/04/2013 Marriage!!!

03/26/2014 AOS Approved!

04/02/2014 Received GC

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong, and think of what could go right!

Skim,

I right there with ya. Waited 7 months then got RFE in January (likely because of an address change I had, which I told them about in Aug. 2012), for another G325 - which adds another 30-60 days. Hrumpf!

Be as patient as possible, as my finace likes to say "the road to happiness is not always straight or smooth".

Best of Luck!!

How can you tell, we here are just a portion of what USCIS have for K1 petitions. They could have approve 20 cases just none of those folks came to VJ forum site to be a member. Remember, things go alot faster if you believe the glass to be half full or just don't stare at it all day long.

But here is to wishing the process to speed up for all us.

God Bless

Bayareaguy has already shown that we are about 7% of the total. That is statistically significant. The downside is that the data here is not be collected in any scientific manner, but that the numbers are not reflective of the total is not true. So, you can get a fairly decent idea of CSC movement by watching Igor's List. But you tell yourself whatever you need to to get through the day.

Why did it take 4 months to get NOA1? That usually only takes about a week. Are you sure you didn't get your NOA2 back in Nov? What service center has your case?

I think they mean December 7 and December 11. It's pretty common outside of the USA to put the day before the month.

Actually, VSC has been processing I-129F's by a factor of 5-10 over CSC in the past 3 months.

Yeah, that would make more sense. If they filed in December then I feel sorry for them if they are totally frustrated now since they have many more months of waiting.

NOA1 - 8/24/2012

NOA2 - 3/18/2013 Only took 207 days at CSC

Have a look at VSC and you will see the difference unless of course they receive 15 times as many applications as CSC, which I highly doubt is the case.

You can tell using Igor list, You can also track account # close to your number ( I track around 30 ) on the same NOA1 date on uscis and none, none is getting updated.

Still waiting here too. Just got off Skype with my fiance. Hate to say goodnight to him. Another 8 hours before we speak again and every single minute hurts. Hopefully CSC will be up and running with our petitions soon.

Exactly same situation going here while I say goodbye to him it just hit my straight in my heart I feel like I am saying goodbye to my life. Believe it or not every night I cry while I look at his pic and talk to him because we have a 12 hour time difference and he stays up all night coz of me to talk to me during my day and I am just hoping this waiting game be over and we all live happily and peacefully with our loved ones.
