We received an rfe letter requesting more evidence: letter of intent to marry, my fiance already mailed it to me should get it by tuesday. But we need some HELP PLEASE, rfe says that we may submit other evidence to establish a mutual intent to marry. my question is should we just sent the letters only or what other evidence can we use?

You could send any chat logs where you are talking about future plans, but I think that a letter from each of you should suffice.

Hi Mrs Prince I had to go into your timeline to see where you were in your process. I see your at the I-129f process.

When I was at this process for myself I sent a copy of the front of my passport page and the stamp page that showed the dates I entered Haiti,I sent a copies of my boarding passes, a passport size picture of myself,my biographic information (form G-325A), proof of citizenship, copy of my previous divorce papers, and my letter of intent to marry.

For him I had my fiance to send me via DHL form G325A his biograhic info with his original signature, his letter of intent to marry me with original signature, and passport size photo of him and that was it. You may have sent most of these but if there is anything your missing just add it.

Just the letter of intent to marry

An RFE is a golden opportunity to ALSO include further evidence of a bona fide relationship. Yes, send the letter of intent, and also copies of chat logs, photos, and anything else to bolster your case. USCIS will not care about the extra material, but the embassy most certainly will.

1. Regarding the extra material, send them what YOU want THEM (at the embassy) to see.

2. Cover everything with the USCIS return sheet, and add a note saying "Extra material is for the embassy" or similar language.

Edited to add: The above hints and more are here:

One query related to something you mentioned above... My fiance has sent a SCANNED COPY of both G325A & my letter of intent. Will I get RFE for this or it will get rejected???

I'm not sure u may or u may not but the request says original.

Send them a photo of an engagement ring or a receipt of engagement ring purchase. If you don't have these, think about Congratulations on your engagement card or something of this nature. That's all I can think of at the moment ;-) Keep your head up and good luck! :)

My RFE was "Letter of intent" and the officer noted that if I send it right away it would take it 14 days for him to make a decision. This is what I did, I wrote one letter for me and I signed it with Blue Ink Pen and I wrote one for my fiance in English (it doesn't matter if it's in English,( it is easier for them and for you just to spare the translation process and fees). And I emailed it to him. My fiance printed it out in Haiti and he signed it with a Blue Ink Pen. He sent it me via DHL. I received it the next day.1) I took one express mail envelope at the post office and I included the RFE letter (very important, you have to send the RFE blue letter back because there's a code that tracks back to the officer because he's the one that has your file. I would suggest you to just make a copy for yourself). 2) I also included my letter and my fiance's letter inside the envelope, 3) (This is optional) I also included the DHL envelope that I received just to show them that there's no fraud, that my fiance's letter did come from Haiti. And don't forget to write your case number starting EAC...on the letters.

01/16/2013 emailed for RFE

01/18/2013 received hardcopy of RFE

01/18/2013 I emailed my fiance his letter of intent ( Remember "his" should say "Fiance Letter of intent" and hers "Fiancee Letter of intent" so they won't see that you just copy, Understand!

01/20/2013 My fiance printed out the letter, signed it with blue ink (it doesn't matter if it's in English, because if it is in French. Now you're going to need translation. So do it in English)

01/21/2013 My fiance sent it via DHL

01/22/2013 I tracked the package and I called DHL to hold it at the local office and I went to pick it up. After I went to the post office to express it (My and His letters + the RFE blue letter)

01/23/2013 I tracked the post office and delivered in Vermont

01/24/2013 USCIS website said, RFE Response has been received...

02/06/2013 I got NOA2!!!! 14 days that the RFE letter stated it might take...

Take it easy, You can do it. We're here to help each other. Remember we are the same boat.

well we didn't include the case # in the letter, which i doubt would be a problem, also we did not write letter of intent on top of the letter, should also be ok. We formated our letter differently.

well
