file I-751 late and forgot to include letter I explanation ;(

Hi I'm newbie here,,, need help too,, I mailed my form I-751 and supporting documents today and its 10 days late,,I am expecting a baby on August o this year,, the reason why I just mailed it today is that I got so sick (nauseated/ vomiting with connection of my pregnancy) and on those times i just feel helpless,,and been busy working,, I didn't notice that my gc will expire on 6/01/13 I haven't paid attention on the expiration I thought I see 6/11/13 not 6/01/13,, till I made a copy of it and didn't research on the Internet that I need to write letter of explanation of why I am late,, is someone out there have the same issue before? Please I need advise,, anything that you will share regarding my post will be greatly appreciated,

How is it late? Your green card expires 6/1/2013 - it's 3/8/2013 so in no way is it late. Had you sent it on 6/11/2013 THAT would make it late. You sent within 90 days of expiration date and you're fine - sit back, relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

I just thought that I should send it before 90 days of my gc expiration,, like my gc expires 6/01/13 so i have to send my packet 3/01/13 but I was late instead I sent it 3/7/13..yesterday

As others have said, you're not late. You don't have to file ON the 90th day before it expires, you file it anytime between the 90th day before, and when the card expires. You are perfectly fine.

Had you filed it AFTER your card expired, then you're late. You cannot file earlier than the 90th day, and filing AFTER the 90th day may result in denial of your ROC and revocation of your LPR status unless you provide a good reason for being late (and "I forgot" isn't usually a good excuse unless it's teamed with valid reasons why you would be forgetting).
