I have just received a letter dated March 5th, from my Senator. I had contacted them just last week asking if there was anything they could do or if they were able to get any answers for me. The CSC response says they are experiencing longer processing periods than normal and are currently running at 9 months from the date filed.

Of course all cases are different and this may or may not be helpful, but I thought I would share.

Wow!! 9 months, that's crazy. :(

I remember when I filed, I heard the VSC was slow on their applications but then before I knew it I received my NOA2.

What's happening CSC? All I have to say is for all CSC filers to hang in there!!

Hopefully things change soon for the better.

Hold on a second, I think your senator is giving you the answer which you could get from just calling the uscis.

Based on uscis processing time table, they are working on July 18 which has not been updated for while. July - March...isnt that 9 month?

April is 9 months. But it can easily get there, and further, if they continue at the pace they have been going.

mine is 9 months in 3 days, I won't hold my breath, i'm sure the next vermont update will say 10 months.

VSC is doing well, I wouldn't doubt if they are getting near the 5 month goal.

really? why is mine there since 6-11-12 if they are near the 5 month goal?

I don't know if they are near their 5 month goal or not, but they are doing better than CSC.

Look here, and then look here. Notice any difference?

But as a June filer (either service center) I'd be inquiring about that if I were you.

I have done the email inquiry, it says you will get a reply in 10 days or less, it took over a month for the reply, only to read...Your application or petition is currently within the posted processing times. An inquiry may not be created at this time. For information about processing dates, please view the recent processing times for applications and petitions.
