Okay my husband really wants to move to Las Vegas. He has a buddy there who keeps ranting and raving about the job opportunities and I have been doing searches on condos and man they are totally gorgeous. YOu can get so much more for your money compared to Chicago. Does anyone on here live there?/knows about the area?

I don't. But if you guys go, let us know how it is. Nani has a friend there that loves it and we talked about it a time or two. Nothing serious - just thinking together...

I will keep you posted. I don't want to just pick up and go, I think it is wise to go take a trip to scope things out. But wowza these pics are phenomenal...it's like all these condos have private pools that look like you're living on an island...this just makes me realize what a sheltered life I have lived...hehe...

We just spent 6 weeks working in LV and there sure seems to be lots of jobs going, expecially in construction...they are building everywhere!!! I must admit it wasn't one of our favourite places and I sure wouldn't like to spend a summer there because of the heat.

We live in Colorado and it was so totally different so maybe we can't give a fair judgement on it....my advice would be to go there for a couple of weeks if you can and test it out....you may fall in love with it!

Whatever you decide, I wish you luck

Jen

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

My wife and I have considered the idea as well. LV does look like it's growing incredibly fast. My only concerns are how long will it take for me to sell my townhouse in NJ and will I find an IT job in the area? Also, my parents want us around the area and that's an important consideration to me.

Nizzy, keep me in the loop with what you find out!

It's very hot in the summer, the pollution isn't very nice and quite honestly if you don't like casinos, tourists and smoke I wouldn't bother. Two days in Vegas is about all I can stomach, but that's my personal preference. I really would suggest you go spend a week there before you decide to move there.
