Timeline

I went with my fiancee for her visa interview to Islamabad on the 18th of January. At the interview, we were handed a Blue Refusal Sheet and told that I needed to head back to the US and provide proof of Domicile. We were so heartbroken that our visa wasn't issued that day. I headed back to the US on the 31st of January and started collecting all the documents and paperwork that I thought would be pertinent in proving that I had re-established domicile in the US. I sent those documents to my fiancee on 19th February, she received it on 22nd February and then she forwarded it to the US Embassy using the American Express Courier service in Karachi on the 23rd of February. I checked the ceac.state.gov site yesterday and was greeted with the following message " ISSUED. Your visa has been printed. Depending on local procedures at the location where you interviewed, your visa will be mailed or available for pickup soon. If there are further questions, or if we need updated contact information, you will be contacted." I am glad that they looked at our info so quickly and issued us the visa. So to all those out there with AP status who are waiting, keep your chin up and I am sure that your number will be up next. Also, thanks to all the people on VJ who helped me out tremendously throughout this long and arduous journey. Lastly, best of luck to those who are just starting on this Immigration Journey, Do not hesitate to hit me up to ask me any questions in regards to the K-1 Visa processes, especially if you're filing for someone in Pakistan, and I'm sure I'll be able to guide you down the right path. Best of Luck Everyone, May we be with our Love One's Soon.
