Today I got the "we mailed your card (EAD)" email & text. Do you get the tracking number the same day?

Yes I personally got the tracking number the same day. But it was later at night around 8 p.m. Your EAD is on it's way.. how excitinG:) wohoooo

We received the second production notice today. How long does it take to ship them out?

My biometric was done on 3/27/2013 and ON 4/2/2013 I-485 AOS status changed to

Testing and Interview

Your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview......

Nothing after that....EAD I-765 is stuck on Initial Review....little worried since I need the EAD ASAP since I need to work...GC card can wait forever...I don't really care for that. Any suggestion...how long more for EAD to be approved???

I don't see your timeline, but It's approximately 60-65 days after NOA.

Here is the info....up until now...there is no other update on interview date or EAD..EAD is still on "Initial Review"

02/21/2013: AOS Package Mailed via USPS Express Mail to Chicago (I-485, I-765, I-130)
02/22/2013: AOS Package Received
03/01/2013: NOA
03/05/2013: Letters of NOA for I-485, I-765 and I-130 with receipt No. Received.
03/11/2013: Biometrics Appt. Notice Received.
03/27/2013: Biometrics DONE!!!
04/02/2013: I-485 Case Status updated to "Testing & Interview"

Your I-485 case updated to "Testing & Interview" very fast after the biometrics, in just few days. That's why right now you probably feel like you have been waiting too long without new updates.

I would say you can expect EAD approval somewhere between May 1st/ May 5th.

We received the second production notice today. How long does it take to ship them out?

Next business day = Monday 22nd and then later that day (hours later) you get another update, go to the USCIS website, type in your case number and you'll find the USPS tracking number. 2-3 business days later you'll get your EAD in the mail. So I would say you'll get it next Wednesday or Thursday.

It's already in California!!, I should get it tomorrow!!! Feels so good to finally get it, next stop.... SSA got your SSN yet?

Yes I Did!! If you would like read my earlier post bout Ssn and drivers license post. I think it's on page 34. it went very well. When I got there they told me I was clear in their system. And yesterday I got my actual card:)

Congrats to you:) it is very exciting...yes it is very nice to get back into driving and stuff:) now we just need to prepare and do well on the interview:)

Thanks a lot for your replies...I know...what's interesting or screwed up is that the steps and/or all the cases do not have and fixed pattern. They are all randomly done or approved e.g. someone is getting NOA in a 2 days..someone else is getting it after 14 days...someone is getting update on case's a lot faster/later than others...Well I guess we are all at their mercy! I guess as long as the overall approval is done bet 60-90 days, we can't really complain.

Here, I am like many checking for status or checking for missed email notification on updates on my phone in the middle of the night/sleep LOLLLLL

Finally came home (6 hours of driving through a blizzard, oh, joy, and found my card in the mailbox. I see they used the picture from biometrics, even better.

Received my EAD Combo Card.
