I sent them by using Priority USCIS mail and not Express mail, on the address given below:

Chicago, IL 60680-4120

So I guess this is the right address. Please do comment on it.

We received the biometrics appointment letter today. The nearest ACS office is about 2.5 hours away. The appointment is scheduled for March 12. Since my division is having a global summit starting that day (actually the night before), with travel to Washington DC the next day through the end of that week, we're going to try to walk-in. I have to travel to Chicago next week for business, so we'll try the walk-in next week. I'm wondering: Can I walk into any ACS office in the Chicago area, or does it have to be the one listed on the appointment letter? I'll do a search here on VJ, but I'm hoping walk-ins are accepted in Chicago...we'll try twice if necessary...the morning I travel to Chicago and the next day on the way back home. I don't want to re-schedule because I'm afraid we'd get a later date...

One more thing: The biometrics appointment is just for the AOS and EAD. Are biometrics not required for the travel document? Or since it comes as a combo card with EAD is it included with EAD?

I'll call on Monday just to be sure, but it looks like we can walk into any office. I have to say though that it's a little frustrating that they need his fingerprints again. They took them at the visa interview at the embassy and again at the POE; both of which were less than four months ago. For us to travel 2.5 hours (longer with traffic) for a five minute appt is a lot. But c'est la vie. We'll try two offices over two days if necessary.

Our info isn't in the USCIS case status system yet either.
