Hello All

I missed the interview date due heath problems, the date was on january 22, what should I do now?, I was not able to inform them or contact, am I going to have to start all over??? I have still been sick, and probably wouldnt be able to travel within 6 months.

If I start all over, should I send the approval NOA2 with the whole package to make it easier for them?

Please any help is aprecciate

Thanks

You or your Fiance definitely need to contact the Embassy/Consulate immediately. Even if they cannot reschedule, it will help your standing should you need to re-apply. Of course, one of the conditions of the Visa approval is your medical physical... have you already completed that? If you have been that ill, it could be difficult to get your Visa approved though.

Try to contact Embassy though via e-mail at this address: immigrationrio@state.gov

Probably not if the OP recovers and that it is not contagious... right?

Good luck in your visa journey!

Contact the embassy asap (and with that I mean, today!), and ask to fax them proof of your health issues (doctors letter, ER report etc). They may agree to re-schedule.

In Colombia they don't set the date for you but you book the interview online. If you can't go you just go online and change it up to one day before the interview. If you don't do that and miss it, you just re book (and pay again the interview fee).

I see that http://usvisa-info.com/ is available for brasil too so maybe it's alike. There's no big deal, a lot of people miss visa interviews everyday! just call the embassy and ask them about it so you can re schedule! most likely you will need to repay.

Hope you get better so you can continue with your journey! health is first :)

Email the Embassy. It's that simple.

In Brazil they set your date, no chance to book your interview online.

Call the consulate asap.
