Hi all,

I m from Pakistan ,My wife is green card holder,My petition date I-130(11 April 2012 )i m waiting for approval,

good news is my wife is pregnant, can i apply visit visa,that's is good reason to apply visit visa...............

can i apply visit visa??

what documents need??

my wife sponsor me??

how long this process??

please give me suggestion.....god bless u all

my husband couldn't apply for a visit visa because he overstayed last visa...i'm due in 5 weeks with our first baby and he will miss it....But I heard you can apply but then you have to retun home and finish waiting for your i-130..that is what the uscis customer service told me

7/25/2012 mailed in I-130
7/26/2012 NOA 1 arrived. to be serviced in California
3/3/2013 our baby was born !!!!

11/13/2013 interview at Chicago

1/27/2014 RFE DNA test

3/7/2014 RFE completed and mailed in

5/12/2014 **I-130 APPROVED** !! 652 days

6/3/2014 NVC received case

7/11/2014 choice of agent signed

7/19/2014 pay AOS bill, send aos packet

7/22/2014 NVC received AOS papers

8/20/2014 send IV packet

8/25/2014 NVC received IV papers

8/27/2014 pay IV bill

9/9/2014 DS-260 completed

9/15/2014 AOS checklist

9/24/2014 NVC scanned aos

10/29/2014 "paid" turned to "n/a"

10/31/2014 called NVC and confirmed case complete

11/4/2014 email with interview scheduled

02/20/2015 I-601 waiver received @ Nebraska

8/10/2015 ceac changed from refused to ready

8/12/2015 visa was issued !!!!!!

you can apply, but most likely you will be denied. Your wife does not sponsor you for a visitor visa, you have to apply and be approved on your own merits. You have to show very strong ties to your country like a job, owning property. Because you have immigrant intent with an I-130 pending and you come from a high fraud country, the chances of your getting a visitor visa are very very very small. The consulate will want a guarantee that you will return to your home country. Apply it won't hurt, but the likelihood of you being approved is slim. Good luck.

congratulations i know how happy you must be.and wish you can be by her side, you can apply for the b/2 on your own merits try to convince the io to let you visit your wife,it's very slim,give it a try you pay the visa fee, if your denied you won't get your money back.in april it will be one year since you filed so you should be near approval we hope, good luck what ever you do.

can you apply? YES!

Your wife petition visitors visa for you? NO she can only invite but you interview onyour own merits.

will visa be granted? its a gamble but the odds are not good.

still its worth a try

12/17/2012: NOA 2 (case was transferred to NYC office 11/27/12)
NVC stage ( 20 days)
01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).
01/28/2013: Case complete!!!
